Medium is for Writers

Writers and Bloggers are Uniting on Medium to Create Some Truly Unique and Diverse Articles and Stories!

If you haven’t heard of the site Medium, then you’re not alone. I hadn’t heard of it either, but there is a large community of people joining together to create a platform for writers. When I say writers, I don’t just mean authors and writers, either. This is a home for anyone who enjoys stringing words together into sentences about anything.

Indie Publishing Group is always eager to help promote authors and writers, dedicating a complete blog section to Indie Author Interviews and Author Advice Articles. I’m pleased to be able to take part in this with Indie Publishing Group, and you can check out my profile at Ben Jackson Medium.

So, what is Medium? Instead of explaining it to you, I’ll let them explain it in only a few lines!

Ideas and Perspectives You Won’t Find Anywhere Else.

Medium taps into the brains of the world’s most insightful writers, thinkers, and storytellers to bring you the smartest takes on topics that matter. So, whatever your interest, you can always find fresh thinking and unique perspectives.

If you enjoy writing or blogging, then Medium can expose your writing to an entirely new audience of people actively interested in reading what you write. Oh, did I mention that you can also get paid for it? If you create an account and take part in the paid sponsorship portion of media, then you can be paid a percentage based on your views, engagement, claps, and more.

Medium is free to join, but there is also a paid membership option. I know what you’re thinking, ‘Oh great, how much is this going to cost me?’ not a lot. Fully paid membership, which allows you to read unlimited amounts of content, is as little as $50 per year or $5 per month. That definitely won’t break the bank.

For authors, this could potentially be a huge market for growing your following and engaging with new readers who are interested in your style of writing. Create a profile and start writing short stories, blogs, or articles about topics that mean something to you.

Medium is for Writers – Conclusion

If you have a story to tell, then I can’t suggest Medium enough. This is a ready-made audience interested in reading. What more could you look for? If you’re already part of the taking advantage of this, then I would love to hear from you!
