Fiction Book Formatting

Stage 1 – Fill Out the Fiction Book Formatting Questionnaire.

This gives us all the information we require for fiction book formatting, including the technical aspects such as trim size and who you are printing or publishing your book through. You can also include a general outline of your story to help our team with print formatting, including choosing fonts and styles relevant to your genre or book. * If you choose a package which includes paperback formatting, then we’ll start with the paperback first before moving on to eBook formatting.

Stage 2 – Booking Your Package for Fiction Book Formatting.

Purchase your package and choose any of our fantastic extras. Once your payment clears, and we receive all necessary information/illustrations you’ll be given a start date. This is the date we begin working on your fiction book formatting. In most cases, all of our fiction book formatting services include a first draft turnaround time of between 5-10 business days.

Please note: a 50% deposit is required at time of booking and we can’t start your order until we receive all necessary information and order requirements including the book formatting questionnaire. 

All images/illustrations supplied must be a minimum of 300dpi and it is the author’s responsibility to supply images which are suited to their desired trim size.

Stage 3 – Proofing

We’ll send over the formatted file/s for you to approve the layout and design. You’ll receive the first draft within ten business days of your order beginning. Stage 4 – Revisions

If any revisions need to be made to your fiction book formatting, we’ll make those changes and re-send the files for your final approval. We include free formatting/layout/design revisions with all of our formatting packages until you’re satisfied. We want to ensure that you’re 100% happy with our fiction formatting services and our experienced formatting team is dedicated to providing you with high-quality book formatting services.

Please note: You’ll receive the first ten proofing edits or author changes free, but after that, any typos/edits/changes made by the author are charged at $1 per edit per format.

Stage 5 – Final Files

Once the formatting has been approved, we’ll then complete any and all other extras/formats which you have purchased with your fiction book formatting/layout package. Then once the final balance has been paid, we’ll send you the final files ready for uploading to your printer. If you’re Canadian or American self-published author, or first time author, our experienced team will be there with your throughout the entire formatting process.
