My pen name is Willa Rose, in honour of my mother. I’m from Newfoundland but made New Brunswick my home. I’m a wife, mother and grandmother. This empty nester now has the time to write, and loving it.
What was the hardest part of self-publishing?
Learning all the dos and don’ts of publishing.
What is your preferred genre to write in?
True Crime.
Have you got anything you’re working on now?
Yes, true crime stories.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
Clairvoyant Visions
What’s your process when you sit down and decide to start writing a book, and do you have a system?
I research first and then outline how I’m going to introduce the story.
Which book is your favorite and why?
Sarah’s Keys. It’s emotional and beautifully written.
Who are some of your favorite authors?
Mary Higgins Clark, Tatiana De Rosnay.
