Scerina Elizabeth

Hi, Scerina Elizabeth, welcome to the Indie Publishing Group website. Introduce yourself to us. Tell everyone who you are, where you’re from, what do you enjoy doing, hobbies and interests.

When did you start writing and why?

May 1st, 2017, I have always been into creative writing with such great ideas bottled up in my head.  Others often told me that I should write.  After doing some research on self-publishing, seeing how easy it was, I decided to start writing.

Which is your favorite book you have written and what gave you the idea for it?

My very first book Nocturnia: Her Dark Angel of the Night.  The idea came from just how I felt at that moment in time, it was never meant to be published but I ended up publishing it.

I have a new series that am planning to do called Fangalicious Divas: A Fanged Sister Trilogy – I have a good feeling that may become my new favorite.  It is based on the legendary monsters: Dracula, Wolfman, & Frankenstein but with a twisted sense of humor twist to it.  Focusing on the women of these monster’s lives and from their points of views.

How did you come up with the title for your book?

Eternally Yours: Bloodlines (my next book due to be released on September 1st) came from a short story that was originally a dragon shifter paranormal romance story but since there were so many dragon shifters stories out there and I did not like how my story came out – I decided to rewrite it and make it my own.

Who helped you with the cover? Or did you design it yourself? What was your inspiration for your cover design?

My first book, Nocturnia: Her Dark Angel of the Night – I designed the first few covers than I went to Fiverr.Com and hired a designer to do the cover for that book but after that book, I decided to design my own covers. It was much more cheaper and I was always good with graphic design.

What are some of the themes of your story?

Most of my stories themes are vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, and shifters but mainly vampires, demons, or witches.

What’s your process when you sit down and decide to start writing a book? What is your process and do you have a system?

I usually plan it all out in my head and just write it all down.  Once I finish the rough draft of the story itself, I go back and do rewrites during the editing and revision process.

Who are some of your favorite characters and why?

I must admit I love my bad boy Kain Vladislad from Nocturnia: Her Dark Angel of the Night as well as Charlamaine & Latrelle LaBau from Eternally Yours: Bloodlines and Savagely Yours: The Beginning.  I also love Lavinia and Darius from Spellbound: The Awakening.

Who are some of your favorite authors?

Anne Rice, Terry Bolryder, E.M. Knight, Bella Forrest, & Stacy Claflin. Also, Stephen King

Have you got anything you’re working on now?

Yes, Eternally Yours: Bloodlines that is due to be released September 1st and also Fangalicious Divas: A Fanged Sister Prequel due to be released on September 18th

If you could have any superpowers what would they be?

I don’t know, I never really thought about it.

If you could travel to any location in the world where would you go?

Greece

Where do you hope to be in 5 years’ time?

A successful author with tons of books and fans who can’t get enough of my books.
