Winter was a Time for Growth for IPG

Winter was a Time for Growth for IPG

Exciting things are happening for Indie Publishing Group in 2023!

Winter was a Time for Growth for IPG. Over the cold winter months, I invested some much-needed love, attention, and time back into Indie Publishing Group.

As a small business owner, finding the time to invest back into your business is often difficult.

When you’re spending 8-10 hours per day working on clients’ projects and helping their dreams to be an author become a reality, it leaves little time to sit down and look at your business.

However, in 2023, I committed myself and my business to be a better business owner. I hope this translates into more business, opportunities, and exposure for my clients and a better experience and finished product.

Right now, as I write this blog, my website is being completely redesigned. My talented and hardworking website designer is working tirelessly to prepare the new website. Not only will it be easier to navigate and load faster for a better customer experience, but I’m also adding some new services.

One of the most exciting things I plan on adding is a book page where authors who have worked with Indie Publishing Group will have their books listed (if they choose to) with a link to where people can purchase them online. In addition, I would love the opportunity to showcase the great work my team and I do at Indie Publishing Group, helping authors self-publish their books and the amazing books that my clients create and publish.

In conjunction with listing client books on IPG, I’m also doubling down on my author interviews. Marketing any books, especially self-published books, is extremely time-consuming. However, as a self-published author myself, I want to be able to give authors an opportunity to highlight themselves and their work.

Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in doing an author interview.

IPG Marketing and Social Media Updates

Speaking of marketing and social media, I hope you’ve noticed my increased social media presence. I have committed this year to double, if not triple, my own social media, focussing on the important topics that new authors and self-published authors need to know. If you follow the IPG page on Instagram, you may have noticed my new Questions for Chrissy posts. You can also connect with me on LinkedIn and Facebook.

For those who don’t know me personally, I’m not the biggest fan of putting myself out there. Videos and photos have never been my favorite thing to share. However, new year new me. I’m also working on building a course for self-published authors considering setting out on the self-publishing pathway for the first time.

In conjunction with this project, I’m also working on doing author book reading videos and uploading them to my author’s YouTube channel. It’s completely nerve-wracking and terrifying, but it’s happening!

Winter was a Time for Growth for IPG – Conclusion

As a self-published author, what are you working on this year? I’d love to hear how you’re building your position as an author in the self-published community. Your tips or advice could help to inspire another author, just as I hope my tips help to inspire you.

If you have any questions or need any assistance with your book, don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me! I’d love to be part of your self-published author journey.
