David spent many years working as a political cartoonist and caricaturist, first in South Africa and then in Canada. He worked for a number of newspapers including The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star and The Toronto Sun amongst others.

More recently he has concentrated on other illustration projects such as promotional work, advertising and children’s book illustration.

When doesn’t have a pencil in his hand, David can often be found engaged in bird photography, gardening or spending time with his family.

I prefer working with traditional methods, pen and ink, pencil, watercolour, mixed media as well as enhancing/colouring digitally.
